PSD Students Achieve Success: Odyssey of the Mind Results, FRHS Student Council Recognized

Congratulations to Poudre School District students and schools for their successes!

FRHS Student Council Recognized

The Fossil Ridge High School Student Council has been selected as a 2012 NASC National Gold Council of Excellence by the National Association of Student Councils for their successes and the integral role they have in the FRHS community and its educational mission.

Odyssey of the Mind Results

Congratulations to the 480 students who competed at the Odyssey of the Mind tournament. A total of 15 schools will send at least one team to the state tournament. The top four teams will advance to state (more teams will advance if there is a “tie” situation).

PSD winners include:
Ooh-Motional Vehicle (Problem 1)
Division I: 1st place, Shepardson Elementary; 2nd place, Harris Elementary; 3rd place, Liberty Common Team B; 3rd place McGraw Elementary; 4th place, Werner Elementary.
Division II: 1st place, Lesher Middle School

Weird Science (Problem 2)
Division I:  1st place, Bethke Elementary; 2nd place, Werner Elementary; 3rd place, O’Dea Elementary; 4th place, Riffenburg Elementary; 4th place, Kruse Elementary
